Ba Zhen Wan is a general tonic used to tonify qi and nourish the blood.  Useful for fatigue, dizziness, heart palpitations, irregular menstruation, recovery from childbirth and illness, anemia and hypoglycemia.

If using for menstrual disorders (including irregualr menstruation, PMS, irritability or pain, take 2 weeks per month, beginning from the day after the last period ends through ovulation (about 14 days) for 3 months.  See also Xiao Yao Wan.  These two formulas taken alternately during the month for menstrual disorders are very effective.
