Yin chiao Chieh Tu Pien is traditionally used for addressing symptoms of a cold or flu before the symptoms settle in.  This formula is highly-regarded for its ability to nourish and strengthen the body if taken immediately at the first signs of a cold or flu for initial aches and pains, sore throat, stiff neck, clear watery phlegm, low fever, thirst, headache, swollen glands, and dry cough. Also relieves runny nose and sneezing, itching of the nose or throat and itchy watery eyes due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies (allergic rhinitis).  If using Yin Chiao for allergy relief, combine with Xiao Yao Wan.

Yin Chiao Chieh Tu Pien is also known as Yin Chiao, Yin Chiao Chieh Du Wan, Yin Qiao Jie Du Pian, Lonicera and Forcythia, Honeysuckle and Forsythia

Recommended Adult Dosage is 5-6 pills every 2-3 hours (the first 9 hours), then every 4-5 hours as needed.  Discontinue by 3rd day of initial symptoms.

Reduce dosage if diarrhea or stomach upset occurs. Not recommended for long term use.
